Born in New Zealand, Chris Boulden focused from an early age on art and design, taking an interest in traditional painting, printmaking and mark making techniques.
He developed his visual art and design skillset at Christchurch Polytechnic, NZ, graduating in 1997.
His artistic influences and inspirations are various, including Hiroshige, Hokusai, Dürer, Klee, Kollwitz, Mantegna, Morandi, and Ravilious to name a few.
Chris lives in London, England with his wife, Art Historian and Curator Anita Viola Sganzerla.
